Terms of Use

Welcome to Soulra ("Soulra", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and the operator of Soulra (the "Operator") governing your access to and use of the Soulra mobile application and any related websites, content, and services (together, the "Service").

The Service is currently provided by an individual operator (sole proprietor). We may transfer the Service and these Terms to a company or other legal entity that we form or control; from that point these Terms, including all disclaimers and limitations of liability, apply to and protect that entity as the Operator. See Assignment in Section 18.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Soulra is an entertainment and self-reflection application that provides astrology, tarot, and numerology content, including:

The Service combines astrological and esoteric traditions with automated and AI-generated content. It is provided for personal entertainment and reflection only.


2. Entertainment Only - No Professional Advice

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY.

The Service, and all astrology, tarot, numerology, AI chat, horoscope, compatibility, mood, and other content it produces (collectively, the "Content"), is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

If you are a minor in your jurisdiction but above the minimum age, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet the eligibility requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.


4. Accounts

You may use parts of the Service anonymously, or you may create an account by signing in with Apple, Google, or another supported method. You agree to:

You are responsible for the birth data, mood notes, chat messages, and other information you enter. Do not enter information about another person unless you have the right to do so.


5. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Auto-Renewal

5.1 Free and Premium access

The Service offers limited free access (including a limited allowance of energy, readings, and AI features) and paid auto-renewable subscriptions ("Premium") that unlock additional or unlimited features. The Service may also offer one-time consumable purchases (for example, energy "Moons" packs).

5.2 Billing through Apple

All purchases and subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store and your Apple ID. When you buy a subscription or other purchase:

Where a free trial or promotional or introductory offer is made available, the specific duration, price, and terms are disclosed at the point of purchase and are subject to Apple's rules and eligibility. Promotional and early-bird discounts may be limited in time, quantity, or eligibility and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

5.4 Prices may change

Current prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase. We may change prices and the features included in free or paid tiers at any time. Price changes to an existing subscription will be handled in accordance with Apple's policies, which may require your consent before they take effect.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.

Because Apple is the merchant of record for all in-App purchases and subscriptions, all refund requests must be made to Apple in accordance with the App Store Terms of Sale and applicable law. We have no ability to access your payment information, to bill or refund you, or to override Apple's refund decisions. To request a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" process (reportaproblem.apple.com) or your Apple ID purchase history.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.


6. Virtual Items and Energy ("Moons")

The Service may include virtual items such as energy ("Moons"), cosmetics, frames, streak rewards, and similar in-app elements. These items:

7. AI-Generated Content

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence and automated systems, including third-party AI providers, to generate horoscopes, readings, chat responses, mood insights, and other Content.

You acknowledge that:

To provide AI features, your input (such as your chat messages, questions, birth data, and reading inputs) is processed by us and by third-party AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, illustrations, astrological and tarot artwork, look and feel, trademarks, and all related content (other than content you submit), is owned by the Operator or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your notes, questions, and birth data). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.


10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In that case, any mandatory warranties are limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.


11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We, and our officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or Content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid to Apple for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or gross negligence where applicable).


12. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Operator and its principals, officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service or Content; (b) your violation of these Terms or any law; (c) your violation of the rights of any third party, including entering another person's data without authorization; or (d) any decision or action you take based on the Content.


13. Third-Party Services and Apple

The Service relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google/Firebase, AI providers, RevenueCat, and others described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, content, or terms of third parties.

Apple-specific terms (where the App is downloaded from the Apple App Store): These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its Content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or for addressing any claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims). In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your use of it infringes intellectual property rights, Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of that claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.


14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service or its AI or reward features, engage in fraud, or where we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the Service or other users.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the App. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and dispute resolution) will survive.


15. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at legal@soulra.app and attempt to resolve it through good-faith informal negotiation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, disputes will be handled on an individual basis, and you and the Operator waive any right to bring or participate in a class or representative action. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, except where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.


17. Changes to These Terms

We may update, change, or replace these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, except where prior notice is required by applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised Terms. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of them. If you do not agree, your only remedy is to stop using the Service.
