Who writes Soulra Journal
Soulra Journal is written and maintained by the Soulra editorial team: the same small team that builds the Soulra app, designs its readings and maintains its astrological reference data. Articles are drafted by the team, reviewed against our internal astrology reference library, and edited for clarity before publication.
How our astrological data is calculated
Every chart, transit and date range in Soulra (the app and this site) comes from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same high-precision astronomical dataset used across professional astrology software. We use the tropical zodiac. Sign ingress dates and return windows quoted in articles are derived from real ephemeris positions, not approximations.
Article-level simplifications are marked as such: when a table shows a year range instead of an exact date, the surrounding text says so, and the app itself always calculates from your exact birth data.
What astrology is, and is not, on Soulra
We treat astrology as a language for reflection: a way to frame questions about timing, personality and relationships. Our content never provides medical, legal or financial advice, and never replaces professional help. Where an article touches adjacent science (psychology, astronomy, history), we cite external sources in a Sources block at the end.
Updates and corrections
Date-sensitive articles (sign ingresses, returns, retrogrades) carry a visible published date and are re-checked when the sky moves on: each article's structured data includes its last substantive update. Found an error? Tell us and we will fix it.
